Oscar Gimenez

I saw this guy, Oscar Gimenez, in Digital Arts  magazine July 2013. I thought this site was an interesting portfolio site since he has so much work to show. His work shows different styles, from pastel line drawings to bold colors. His site is in Spanish, but most of it is translated. For what isn't, there is always Google.

Mario Lalich

I found this guy in the book Web Design: Portfolios, edited by Julius Wiedmann. It got my attention because the picture in the book showed pictures supersized like we did in class. The site had changed by the time I got to it, but I still think it looks good. It took me a while to get used to the navigation, but now that I understand it, I think it works well too.

Just Dew It!

This is from Firstborn, which I found out about  in How magazine's July 2013 issue. I like the thin pictures and how that leaves a lot of real estate for other things. I also like the columns of text and how that adds artistically to the layout. I did not like how the layout came out at 1024x768 with the navigation text over the guy's head, so I took a wider screen shot. I am not usually into black backgrounds (even with my blog using it), but I think it works here.
